Meet our crew. Our people are our most valuable resource. By combining expertise and skill, we successfully complete even the most difficult projects. Our commitment to safety and the ability to create a partnership with those we serve is what makes us unique.

Robert Martinez, P.E., President
Founder, El Patron, the big cheese. There are many wonderful adjectives that can be used to describe our President, but one thing is for certain he is a humble man. Robert defines success in the relationships he forms and truly understanding and solving challenges facing them. Robert makes certain that CRU has the right people, resources, and perspective to fulfill the mission of our clients’ businesses. This is one person you will always want in your corner.
Robert is a graduate of Texas A&M University and comes from a long line of Aggies (insert proverbial ‘Gig ‘em’ here). He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M and an MBA from Texas State University, which we old-timers call Southwest Texas State University. His highest honor is his daughter and holding the CRU plank championship (5+ minutes).

Jay M. George, Vice President
Innovator, the big guy, human calculator.
The early bird gets the worm must have been written by Jay’s parents. It is not uncommon for Jay to be at the office while crickets are still chirping. He is smart, fair, and driven. Jay runs a tight ship. He is an entrepreneur at heart and a former Marine (Oorah!). He shares his passion for learning. Jay enjoys trying new things to find a better way. He is like a human Rubik’s Cube, really.
Jay channels his passions to preserve and nurture our unique culture and succeeding for our crew, clients, and community. Ask him anything and you’ll get a straight answer, we like that.

Cirilo Mondragon, Vice President Field Operations
El Jefe, Chief, Head Honcho. Master juggler and field operations guru. Cirilo can run circles around the best of ‘em. He is a sharp-shooter with a brilliant smile. When he is not strategizing and leading teams to mold the earth for generations to come, you might find him enjoying the land. He is an avid hunter and fisherman with a keen eye.
If you want to keep up with Cirilo, you better giddy up! This man is ambitious and committed. His leadership and drive has fueled CRU’s success as a front-runner in the industry.

Meliton Aguilar, General Superintendent
The quintessential gentleman with a can do, will do, already done attitude. Meliton is an admired relationship builder and leader in the industry of dry utilities. He stays one step ahead of the game, anticipating needs and completing projects. He is like a human camel, most of us have never seen him eat.
Meliton keeps his cool under pressure and can talk a kitten down from the top of any tree.
Asha Garcia, Project Manager
Proud engineer, strong role-model, overall dynamo. Asha joined our team in 2016 and it wasn’t long before we wondered what we did without her. She is proactive, forward-thinking, has a zest for learning, and is the epitome of professionalism. Asha’s hard-working ambition is evident in the way she approaches projects, tasks, and people. Asha is an integral part of CRU’s team leading projects with the same passion and enthusiasm she demonstrates each time she learns something new.
Asha is an esteemed Mechanical Engineer earning her degree from The University of Texas at El Paso. When she is not at the office she is likely planning her next adventure with her husband and son.
